Throughout my career, my practice has been focused on serving clients with small business, estate planning, probate and real estate needs. I have also practiced in the public utility area, working on public offerings of securities as well as electric rate cases and cogeneration matters before the Michigan Public Service Commission.
In working with clients, my primary concerns are to be sure that I fully understand their needs and that their objectives are clearly and effectively expressed in business negotiations, agreements and estate planning documents.
I have completed the Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education Estate Planning Certification Program and frequently serve as a commentator for its estate planning seminars. I also have taught an advanced estate planning course for the American Society of Chartered Life Underwriters.
For over 10 years, I have been listed in the "Best Lawyers in America".
