Born and raised in Ann Arbor, I came back to practice law in 1981 after obtaining a B.A. from Michigan State University and Juris Doctor from Chicago Kent Law School. My law practice focuses on three areas: (1) real estate, (2) small business, (3) wills and probate. For over 25 years I have provided personal attention, prompt communication and a high quality legal strategy to meet my clients' needs.
Practice Areas
My real estate practice includes mortgage law, wholesale mortgage lending and servicing issues, mortgage brokers, credit fraud and mortgage loan fraud. I resolve title defects and boundary disputes through title insurance claims and lawsuits to quiet title. I represent real estate brokers with licensure and agency issues, parties to commercial and residential conveyances, landlords in landlord/tenant disputes, homeowner's associations and parties in construction law disputes. Thus, I have experience in foreclosures of mortgages, land contracts, construction liens and homeowner association liens for unpaid dues.
My business law practice includes business formation of corporations and limited liability companies, buying and selling of businesses, employment contracts, collections and asset recovery claims.
My wills and probate practice includes estate planning, revocable living trusts, probate and trust administration, guardianship and conservatorship law.
